Swimwear with a conscience.

Look good. Feel good. Do good.

Some places change the way you see the world. Mauritius is one of them. Surrounded by the shimmering turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, it is a place of rare and breathtaking beauty — and a daily reminder that what is precious must be protected.

Since 2020, Aima Dora has turned that belief into action — creating stunning swimwear from fabrics born from recycled ocean and land plastic waste. Look good. Feel good. Do good. Our motto from the start. And our enduring commitment.

Being part of the solution.

Alma Stanonik swapped high fashion and high heels for a barefoot life on the shores of Mauritius — and never looked back. Captivated by the beauty of the ocean, and troubled by the growing threat to it, she decided to act.

Aima Dora is her answer - a brand built on the conviction that swimwear can be both stunning and responsible — designed to fit and flatter, inspired by the natural beauty of Mauritius, and created with an unwavering commitment to the planet.

At Aima Dora, sustainability is not a promise — it's a practice. We create only to order, so every piece has a reason to exist. We choose high-quality fabrics made in Europe from recycled materials, including recovered ocean plastic. From the first stitch to the last, every step of the production process happens in our own atelier on the island of Mauritius — close, considered, and entirely in our hands. No hidden processes, no outsourced corners. Just complete clarity over what we make, how we make it, and why it matters.

Sustainability starts with people.

We believe a truly sustainable brand takes care of its team as much as its planet. That means fair pay, ethical working conditions, and genuine respect for the skilled Mauritian seamstresses who bring Aima Dora to life, stitch by stitch.

They are not just our workforce. They are our foundation.

Introducing Seafairer for men.

We've spent years perfecting swimwear for women — and along the way we've been quietly dreaming of doing the same for men. That moment has arrived.

Introducing Seafairer, our first collection of men's swim shorts. Born from the colours, textures and spirit of Mauritius, Seafairer carries the same DNA as Aima Dora — sustainable, stylish, and made with genuine care.

We can't wait for you to discover it.

The problems that could arise for the afterlife of her products and their recycling due to the use of trims and support made of metal and plastic are met by with cut-based solutions: Elements for knotting, wrapping, tying up have thus become the typical styling element of the brand's Ocean outfits.
